The PROSPECTS 5.0 consortium, with Flanders Make as the organizing partner, conducted a validation workshop with Belgian start-up Octave. Held online on August 13, 2024, the workshop marked the first online edition in the series, allowing Octave, which focuses on second-life battery energy storage systems, to discuss the preliminary Industry 5.0 Assessment Framework. The event saw participation from four representatives: one from Flanders Make and three from Octave.

Participants focused on:

• Validation of proposed KPIs
• Identification of additional KPIs
• Feasibility and implementation challenges
• Suggestions for improvement

The workshop achieved its goals, gathering valuable insights that will refine the framework. The collaborative environment fostered active participation, crucial for the project’s ongoing development.
