The workshop took place in Czech Republic on August 21, 2024. It was the fifth in a series of Industry 5.0 Assessment Framework Validation Workshops planned in the PROSPECTS 5.0 project.

Three company representatives and project staff from the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen were present during the workshop.

Various issues related to the basic pillars of human centricity, resilience and sustainability in Industry 5.0 were discussed during the workshop.

Different indicators were used to evaluate the company’s activities in these pillars. These indicators not only assess the current situation of the company, but also outline possible directions the company could take in the future.

During the fruitful conversation, various other issues arose that can help the company to strengthen its future development, both in terms of behaviour towards its own employees and towards its suppliers. These include strengthening interdependence and reducing risk in the supply chain framework. Finally, the customers whose product requirements the company should satisfy should not be forgotten.

The active involvement of all participants contributed to the success of the workshop and ensured that important insights were gained, and feedback was provided to further improve the Industry 5.0 Assessment Framework.
