Industry 5.0 Blueprint Series: PROSPECTS 5.0 Showcases Industry 5.0 Assessment Tool to the Pact for Skills for Energy-Intensive Industries

July 6, 2026

The PROSPECTS 5.0 consortium continues to expand the reach of its Industry 5.0 solutions by presenting the Industry 5.0 Assessment Tool to members of the Large-Scale Skills Partnership for Energy-Intensive Industries (LSP EII) during its General Assembly held on 6 July 2026

The LSP EII, established under the European Commission’s Pact for Skills, brings together companies, industry associations, trade unions, education providers, and public authorities working to address skills needs and accelerate the green and digital transformation of Europe’s energy-intensive industries.

Representing the PROSPECTS 5.0 consortium, Eduardo Carvalho (INEGI) introduced the project’s Industry 5.0 Assessment Framework, explaining how organisations can evaluate their maturity across the three core pillars of Industry 5.0 – human-centricity, sustainability, and resilience – while also considering digital readiness and organisational culture.

The session continued with Giorgos Metaxiotis (AETHON Engineering), who demonstrated the newly launched Industry 5.0 Self-Assessment Tool. Participants explored how the platform enables organisations to assess their current level of Industry 5.0 readiness, benchmark their performance, and receive practical recommendations for future improvements.

The presentation sparked interest among participants, who recognised the value of a structured, evidence-based approach for supporting organisational transformation. Discussions also explored opportunities for organisations within the LSP EII network to test the assessment platform and contribute to its further development.

By engaging directly with one of Europe’s key industrial skills partnerships, PROSPECTS 5.0 continues to strengthen collaboration with industry stakeholders and promote practical tools that help organisations translate Industry 5.0 principles into measurable actions.

The Industry 5.0 Assessment Tool is now available for organisations wishing to evaluate their readiness and begin their Industry 5.0 transformation journey.
