Industry 5.0 Blueprint Series: New Webinar Recording Available
The PROSPECTS 5.0 project is pleased to announce the release of the second webinar in its Industry 5.0 Blueprint Series, a collection of practical sessions designed to help organisations understand and implement Industry 5.0 principles.
The webinar, Leading Industry 5.0 Transformation: Lessons from European Manufacturing, builds on experiences from companies and experts working at the forefront of industrial transformation. The session was organized together with BRIDGES5.0 project and featured contributions from Giorgos Metaxiotis (Atheon Engineering), Evagoras Zervas (Trygons SA), Martina Wolfgruber (Infineon), and John Roulstone (Kirchhoff Automotive Ireland).
Despite representing organisations of different sizes, sectors, and levels of maturity, the speakers arrived at remarkably similar conclusions. Successful Industry 5.0 transformation is not primarily about deploying new technologies. Instead, it depends on how organisations engage people, build trust, develop skills, and create a shared vision for change.
The webinar highlights several key lessons for companies embarking on their Industry 5.0 journey:
- Start with real operational challenges rather than technology solutions.
- Involve employees early in the transformation process.
- Treat workforce acceptance as a critical business factor.
- Build momentum through practical, incremental improvements.
- Connect individual initiatives into a coherent transformation roadmap.
- Learn from peers and collaborate across ecosystems.
Participants also received an introduction to the PROSPECTS 5.0 Assessment Platform, a digital tool designed to help organisations assess their Industry 5.0 maturity, benchmark their performance, and identify practical next steps for improvement.
The Industry 5.0 Blueprint Series supports companies, innovation organisations, policymakers, and researchers in translating Industry 5.0 concepts into actionable strategies and measurable progress. Future webinars will continue exploring the pillars of human-centricity, sustainability, and resilience through real-world examples and practical guidance.
🎥 The recording is now available through the PROSPECTS 5.0 Wiki and can be accessed by all interested stakeholders seeking to advance their Industry 5.0 journey.
